A Plan for Change

A) The Core
  • Recruit 100 Israeli citizens into a core group of active members.

B) Branches

  • Organizational branches of members and supporters will be established in every city in Israel.

C) The Virtual Knesset

  • Creation and maintenance of a national simulation of the Knesset as it would operate in a system of direct, representational democracy, including national elections, candidates, and voting among Knesset members on issues of legislation and policy. This step will be taken in parallel with other steps to educate the public on the roles of the government and the public under a system of direct, representational democracy.

D) Consensus

  • Building of popular consensus of support for direct, representational democracy. Promotion of electoral change as the top priority on the national political agenda.

E) Intense Political Activism

  • Intense political activism to change of the government/electoral system towards direct, representative democracy. Visible, decisive support for parties committed to a change towards direct, representative democracy.
